MATERIALS
We utilise quality local stone for the majority of our fireplaces. Situated in the South West we are spoilt for choice with a number of oolitic limestones, favoured for carving due to its fine-grained structure, facilitating detailed and intricate designs.
The balance between softness and durability in oolitic limestone minimises the risk of breakage, and the stone offers a consistent appearance and versatile colour range.
We are also able to accommodate the use of other natural stone materials for bespoke projects, including marble, sandstone, and granite.
